We've got a sick baby in the house. Apparently she caught a little bug and hasn't been feeling up to par. Early Saturday morning her temp was up to 102 so I called her pediatrician's office and they told us to bring her in. Luckily we were able to go in for regular office hours on Saturday and avoid the Children's After Hours place, and fees...
She has officially reached the point where she recognizes the doctor's office. She starts wimpering immediately as soon as they enter the room. Poor baby had to get a finger prick and a not-so-fun nasal swab for flu. She was not happy. Everything checked out ok on paper, but since it's so close to Christmas they went ahead and put her on antibiotics and are treating it as bronchitis. She is hoarse and has a rattly cough.
We're keeping her in and hoping she will be all better in time for Santa! She has taken several steps on her own lately, and especially today. She will walk from me to Chad without holding on to anything or falling down so we are counting that as walking! Just in time for Christmas. She also has a new tooth coming through, this will be #9! Sickness and teething... poor thing can't catch a break. Maybe some presents from Santa will help make it all better!

Poor thing...I hope she starts feeling better soon! She's still just as adorable, even with those sick eyes :)
Poor thing! Give her sugars from aunt Crystal and uncle Nathan.
I can't wait to see her walking all by herself. :)
